PRESENTATION GUIDELINES

Presentation Guidelines for Oral Presenters - Main Congress

The duration for invited presentations is 20 minutes inclusive of a 2-minute question and answer session. The duration for shortlisted oral presentations is 10 minutes inclusive of a 2-minute question and answer session. Time allotted for presentations will be strictly observed in order to maintain the integrity of the conference schedule and to allow delegates to move between talks for concurrent sessions. Session chairpersons will give 2 minutes’ notice to indicate the end of your presentation time.

All presenters are requested to upload your powerpoint presentation files with the staff at the Speakers Room (Citrine 210), located on Level 2, at least one session break before your talk, or preferably the day prior to your talk. If you are unable to upload your presentation slides in time, please proceed directly to the respective rooms to upload your slides with the room attendant.

Presenters are encouraged to use the PC/laptop provided during the presentation, in order to minimise the downtime required for the changing of laptops.

Presentation Guidelines for Oral Presenters - Young Scientist Forum

For Young Scientist Forum Presenters, the duration for shortlist oral presentation is 15 minutes inclusive of a 2-minute question and answer session.

Kindly proceed to the lecture theatre upon registration to upload your slides with the room attendant on 7th May 2023.

The recommended poster size is standard A1 size, 594mm (w) x 841mm (h), portrait orientation. Your poster should not exceed the surface space provided.

Mounting supplies will be provided. Poster presenter is responsible for the proper assembly, mounting, presentation of his/her poster and its removal.

Posters must be removed at the end of each conference day, by 6.00pm, so as to allow the next day’s poster presenters to put up their posters. Any posters remaining on site after the end of each day will be available for collection from the registration desk until 10 May 2023, 4pm. f the poster is not collected by then, the poster will be discarded.
